Removing severely decomposed bodies floating on the sea

    Ha Tinh - Yen Hoa Commune Police (Cam Xuyen District) coordinated with border guards and fishermen to recover a body suspected to be a male floating on the sea and bring it to shore.

    At around 11am on May 3, Yen Hoa Commune Police coordinated with soldiers from Thien Cam Border Guard Station (Cam Xuyen) and a fishing boat of fishermen to recover a decomposed body floating heavily on the sea about 5 nautical miles from shore, in the waters of Yen Hoa Commune.

    The victim's body was then brought ashore for the authorities to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death, clarify the identity, and find relatives.

    In case relatives cannot be found, the local government will organize burials and interments in the area according to regulations.
