Gia Lai - The police will take dry bone samples and send them for DNA testing, and when the results are available, they will officially notify the victim's family.

On August 27, Gia Lai Provincial Police said that regarding the discovery of dry skeletons in the mountains, professional units and the Criminal Police Department are actively investigating and clarifying.

On the afternoon of August 26, a family in Plei Ama Rin 2 village, Ia Pa commune came to claim as relatives and said the victim was Mr. K.T (born in 2004).

According to the family, Mr. T had a wife and children and worked for hire at a pig farm. Around the beginning of December 2024, T's younger brother had a traffic accident and had to be treated at Gia Lai General Hospital. The family contacted Mr. T to bring the clothes to his younger brother.

After arriving at the hospital, Mr. T took a bus home. However, when he left, he did not bring his phone or personal documents. Since then, the family has completely lost contact with him.

The family had posted information about searching for Mr. T many months ago, but there was no response. They also provided a photo that was said to be of Mr. T wearing a jacket similar to the shirt discovered at Chu A Thai Mountain.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on August 23, the Chu A Thai Commune Police, Gia Lai Province received a report from local residents about the discovery of a human skeleton in a deserted mountainous area in Thanh Thuong Village.

At the scene, in addition to a jacket, under a tree branch about 2.5 m from the ground, people discovered a skeleton.

Immediately after receiving the information, Chu A Thai Commune Police sent forces to the scene to examine and verify the incident.

After that, the local government organized a funeral and buried the remains according to customs.
