On September 23, Gia Lai Central General Hospital said that on the same morning, the hospital received and treated 4 victims in the passenger car overturning accident that occurred in An Nhon Bac ward.
Among these are 3 mothers and children including Ms. Nguyen Thi S. (born 1994), Nguyen Ngoc Khanh L. (born 2021) and Nguyen Ngoc Gia H. (born 2025), all residing in Binh Dinh ward.
Ms. S. suffered a fractured tibia under the ankle. The two children only suffered minor scratches, not seriously affecting their health.
The most seriously injured victim is Ms. Vo Thi X. (born 1998, residing in Hoai Nhon Dong ward), suffering multiple injuries to the abdomen, knees, chest spine, lower back; broken seat bone, pubic bone.
Immediately after receiving them, doctors proceeded with emergency treatment, CT scans, X-rays and checked the injury status of the patients.
Currently, the hospital is treating and monitoring the victims. The remaining cases are basically stable, not life-threatening.
As Lao Dong newspaper reported, at about 4:30 am on the same day, at the intersection of National Highway 1 - National Highway 19B (Go Gang intersection, Tien Hoi residential group), sleeper bus BKS 77F-005.42 of Bay Tau bus company, driven by Mr. Nguyen Van C. (born 1990, residing in Hoai Nhon ward), collided with motorbike BKS 77F2-0443 driven by Mr. Nguyen Dinh P. (born 1963, residing in An Nhon Bac ward).
After the collision, the passenger car driver steered and crashed into a taxi with license plate 60E-006.50 parked nearby and then overturned.
The accident killed Mr. P. and a female passenger on the passenger car. 4 other passengers were injured.
