On March 11, the Border Guard Command of Lam Dong province announced that it had established an inspection team to prepare for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term in border areas in the province.

The working delegation directly inspected the preparations at the polling stations for early elections on March 14, including: Polling station No. 37 in Dak Wil commune (Nam Na Border Guard Station and Dak Ken Border Guard Station); polling station No. 20 in Thuan An commune (Dak Dam Border Guard Station); polling station No. 21 in Thuan An commune (Dak M'Bai Border Guard Station) and polling station No. 19 in Thuan Hanh commune (Training - Mobile Battalion 1).
Through actual inspection, the working delegation noted that the units have proactively developed plans, closely coordinated with Party committees and local authorities in border areas to implement election preparation contents in accordance with regulations.

Border guard stations also coordinate with local authorities to thoroughly grasp the directives of superiors on election work.
At the same time, promote propaganda and dissemination of laws on elections to cadres, soldiers and people in border areas.
Along with that, units strengthen coordination with forces to ensure security and order, safety in the voting area.
The work of preparing facilities, decorating ceremonies, listing voters' lists and summary biographies of candidates was implemented in accordance with regulations.

Voting areas are decorated solemnly; ballot boxes and documents serving the election are carefully prepared.
Through inspection, Colonel Dinh Van Bo, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, requested units to continue to promote propaganda so that officers, soldiers and people clearly understand the meaning and importance of the election. From there, actively participate in voting fully and in accordance with regulations.
In addition, units need to proactively grasp the local situation, strengthen measures to ensure security and safety before, during and after the election.

Units strictly maintain combat readiness duty, closely coordinate with forces in the area to maintain political security, social order and safety, especially in polling areas.
To date, early voting areas in the Lam Dong border region have been ready for election day - the festival of the whole people.
