Recorded on January 1st, the first day of the 2026 New Year holiday, the number of tourists flocking to Tuyen Quang province increased sharply, especially in communes in the Dong Van Karst Plateau region.
Popular locations such as Km0 milestone, Tham Ma slope (Pho Cao commune), Pao's home studio (Pho Bang commune), Lung Cu flagpole, Lo Lo Chai village are always crowded with tourists.
Ms. Hoang Anh (Hanoi City) said that this is the first time she has visited the Dong Van Karst Plateau region, the scenery is extremely majestic, but she did not think there would be so many tourists like this.
At tourist destinations, it was quite difficult for me to find a spacious place to take photos, but I feel very happy and impressed with this land," Ms. Hoang Anh shared.

Local traffic congestion at tourist destinations and some locations on National Highway 4C - the main road leading to the highland communes of Tuyen Quang province still occurs. The reason is that the road surface is narrow, curved, many points are under construction while the number of vehicles is increasing.
Mr. Tran Van The (Hung Yen province) said that almost all tourist attractions along National Highway 4C are congested, faster you have to wait a few minutes, slower about 30 minutes to be able to move through.
Tourist attractions lack parking spaces for passengers, causing vehicles to spill onto the road, both hindering traffic and potentially posing a risk of unsafety," Mr. The said.

At the Tham Ma slope tourist spot (Pho Cao commune) and Lo Lo Chai tourist village (Lung Cu commune), due to the high concentration of people and vehicles, commune police forces often have to appear to divert traffic, guide tourists to stop and park vehicles, ensuring security and order.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang province, this year's New Year holiday lasts 4 days, so it is predicted that the number of tourists coming to the locality will increase compared to the same period. Accommodation facilities have been reviewed to ensure security, safety, hygiene and quality.
At the same time, functional sectors also have traffic organization plans and appropriate construction plans on National Highway 4C to avoid congestion when the number of vehicles increases.
In 2026, Tuyen Quang aims to welcome over 4.1 million domestic and international tourists. The province continues to identify tourism development as one of the key tasks, towards green, sustainable, professional and rich in identity development.
Previously, in 2025, Tuyen Quang welcomed over 3.9 million visitors, revenue of 10,000 billion VND, reaching 109% of the annual plan. In particular, Tuyen Quang's tourism industry has many highlights when winning a series of prestigious awards.
