In the last days of January 2026, although the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year is approaching very closely, at the project to build Xin Man Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Xin Man commune, Tuyen Quang province), there are still hundreds of workers and engineers actively constructing, overcoming difficulties in the face of complicated weather and terrain.
According to PV's records, the project site has been cleared and handed over to the construction unit. Currently, the contractor has started construction of 2/8 main building blocks, and the remaining building blocks are being pressed with foundation piles.
Ground leveling and construction of water supply and drainage systems are underway. Some construction areas facing complex terrain and geology are being evaluated in detail by functional agencies and specific plans are being developed.
The project to build Xin Man Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School has a total investment of over 224 billion VND, constructed by Dong Bac One Member Limited Liability Company and Dinh Hoang Son La One Member Limited Liability Company.
To date, the Project has been allocated capital of over 67 billion VND, with 10 items. By the end of January 2026, the implemented volume is estimated to reach about 5.6% of the contract value.

Talking to PV, Mr. Ta Quoc Tuan - Director of Dong Bac One Member Limited Liability Company said that the geology at the project is relatively complex, with a high risk of landslides.
Currently, the contractor is waiting for design adjustments to proceed with pile driving. Although the terrain and geology are difficult, we are determined to accelerate the project progress. In favorable locations, vehicles and people are being reinforced for construction," Mr. Tuan said.
Compared to the set progress, the project to build Xin Man Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School is currently delayed, mainly due to landslides occurring during the ground leveling process. The emergence of groundwater veins in the construction area of some items causes the risk of subsidence of the foundation and taluy behind the project.
In addition, households with land and assets subject to recovery and site clearance are slow to agree on receiving advance money to relocate houses and lower slopes, affecting the project progress.
At the project progress inspection on January 30, Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc - Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee requested local authorities, investors, and construction units to coordinate synchronously and unifiedly to drastically get involved to remove difficulties and obstacles.
Mobilize machinery and manpower to accelerate progress, but must ensure project quality. At the same time, regularly inspect and supervise items during construction, construction procedures must strictly comply with current technical regulations and standards, and absolutely ensure labor safety," Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc proposed.

Implementing the Politburo's conclusion on the policy of building schools for border communes, Tuyen Quang province has proposed building 16 inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in border communes. In which, for Thanh Thuy and Lao Chai communes, due to the small number of students, only 1 school is built according to the commune cluster model.
Currently, 6 inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in Minh Tan, Thanh Thuy, Xin Man, Pa Vay Su, Pho Bang and Son Vi communes with a total investment of nearly 1,300 billion VND have started construction from the beginning of the new school year 2025-2026. The remaining 10 schools will implement in the following years.
