In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 3 (Wipha), as of 8:00 a.m. on July 22, in Viet Yen commune (Hung Yen province), 16 households with unstable houses had been supported by local authorities to move to a safe place to protect people's lives and property.
The Commune Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue has directed the villages to continue reviewing and counting households at risk of insecurity, especially level 4 houses that have degraded, temporary houses or are located in low-lying areas, along rivers and dykes. The Commune Fatherland Front Committee requested the Village Chiefs to urgently update the situation and report this morning to synthesize and report to superiors.
This is a practical action, demonstrating the proactive, responsible and proactive spirit of the Party Committee and government of Viet Yen commune in natural disaster prevention.

Also this morning, comrades in the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee and representatives of sectors and organizations visited, encouraged and presented gifts to households taking shelter from the storm at concentrated points in the area. Although small, the gifts show concern and sharing, contributing to helping people feel more confident in overcoming difficult times due to the impact of the storm.
In particular, comrades in the Village Party Committee Committee were also present directly, joining hands to support, grasp the situation and promptly encourage the people. This activity demonstrates the spirit of "mutual love", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" and solidarity and unity in preventing and combating natural disasters in the whole commune.
