Hanoi - A 27-year-old girl from Kien Giang (old) was rescued by authorities after jumping into a lake in Tay Ho ward, on the evening of July 17.

On July 18, Hanoi City Police informed that at 11:22 p.m. on July 17, the Command - City Police Information Center received a report about a person jumping into a lake in the area adjacent to West Lake Water Park, Tay Ho Ward, showing signs of danger to life.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Command Information Center mobilized a specialized vehicle and 6 officers and soldiers of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (CC&CNCH) of area No. 14, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Hanoi City Police to urgently go to the scene for rescue.

Despite the darkness and wide terrain, the authorities quickly deployed a formation to closely coordinate with the ward police and local people to isolate and locate the victim.

The victim was immediately discovered, approached, brought to shore safely and was quickly given initial first aid by the 115 Emergency Center and transferred to Hospital E.

The victim was identified as Ms. L.T.T.B (born in 1998, from the former Kien Giang - now An Giang). Currently, Ms. B's health is stable and is being monitored and cared for.
