On March 28, Riverine Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police) received information about a young man driving a water motorbike operating in the public beach area in Nha Trang ward.
On the evening of March 27, a TikTok account with about 1 million followers posted a 54-second clip. In it, it recorded the scene of the account owner driving a water motorbike at high speed, continuously circling on a public beach.
Notably, this is an area for people and tourists to swim in the sea, and water motorbike activities are not allowed.
The clip quickly attracted more than 500,000 views along with thousands of likes and shares on social networks.
Functional forces determined that the water motorbike driver came from Dak Lak province. Currently, the unit is urgently verifying and issuing an invitation letter to this person to work according to legal regulations.
Information from the Nha Trang Bay Management Board said that water motorbikes are not allowed to operate at public beaches in the area.
According to regulations, this type is only allowed to be exploited within the sea area belonging to tourist areas and islands and must strictly comply with safety requirements.
In particular, the operating area must be away from public beaches to ensure safety for people and tourists.
