On January 20, the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee announced that it had just concluded the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on a number of contents to continue implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the provincial political system.
The Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee agreed to end the operation of the Department of Foreign Affairs. The functions and tasks of state management of foreign affairs and national border affairs of the province (generally called foreign affairs) will be transferred to the status quo; public services under the state management of the Department of Foreign Affairs will be transferred according to the provisions of law on the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee leads and directs the development of specific plans and projects for arrangement (including organizational structure, staffing, finance, and assets) according to regulations; to be completed before February 10, 2025.
The Provincial Party Committee agreed to establish a Steering Committee to research and develop a project for the Provincial Media Center.
The purpose is to implement the policy of researching and merging Quang Binh Newspaper with the Provincial Radio and Television Station, establishing the Provincial Media Center; transferring the functions and tasks of the Electronic Information Portal from the Official Gazette Center under the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Party Committee Electronic Information Portal under the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Electronic Information Page of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council under the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to the Provincial Media Center.
The Steering Committee is responsible for researching, developing, and advising on the issuance of a project to establish the Provincial Media Center; advising on the development of regulations on the functions, tasks, organizational structure, staffing, and working relationships of the Provincial Media Center and establishing the Provincial Media Center Party Committee.
Time to complete the establishment of the Provincial Media Center before June 30, 2025.
