Building infrastructure for resettlement areas of the 1,800 billion VND project in Phu Tho

Phu Tho - The Capital Region Connecting Transport Infrastructure Project in Vinh Phuc province (old) will deploy bidding packages for resettlement infrastructure construction.

The Capital Region Connecting Transport Infrastructure Project in Vinh Phuc province (Belt Road 5 - Capital Region and the section of road along the foot of Tam Dao mountain, connecting Ring Road 5 with National Highway 2B to Tay Thien, going to National Highway 2C and Tuyen Quang) has a total investment of 1,800 billion VND.

The Vinh Phuc Regional Project Management Board (Phu Tho province) is the investor of the above project, constructing at: Xuan Hoa Ward, Binh Tuyen Commune, Tam Duong Bac Commune, Dai Dinh Commune and Tam Dao Commune.

The project started in February 2022, building a road with a length of 26.7km. In which, the section belonging to Ring Road 5 - Capital region is 9km long; the section belonging to the road along the foot of Tam Dao mountain is about 17.7km long.

According to the reporter's investigation, on July 23, the Vinh Phuc Regional Project Management Board issued a bidding invitation notice for the package: Construction of infrastructure for the resettlement area of Tam Lo field, Gia Khau village, Binh Tuyen commune.

The above bidding package is worth more than 13.7 billion VND from the central budget capital in the medium-term public investment plan 2021 - 2025 and 2026 - 2030; provincial budget capital in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and 2026 - 2030.

A day earlier (July 22), the investor also announced the search for a contractor for the package: Construction of resettlement infrastructure in Dong Cu area, Lang Ha village, Tam Dao commune (package price of nearly 15.5 billion VND).

According to research, in this contractor selection plan, there are still 2 other resettlement infrastructure construction packages (not yet announced for bidding invitation, starting to organize contractor selection in the third quarter of 2026), specifically:

Construction of resettlement infrastructure in Cong Lang field area, Cam Lam village, Tam Dao commune (package price of nearly 10.6 billion VND).

Construction of resettlement area infrastructure in Doi Che area, Dai Quang residential group, Xuan Hoa ward (package price of nearly 12.2 billion VND).

Similar to the bidding package in Binh Tuyen commune, the remaining 3 bidding packages are all invested from central budget capital in the medium-term public investment plan 2021 - 2025 and 2026 - 2030; provincial budget capital in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and 2026 - 2030.

In the coming time, after having the contractor selection results, the units winning the above 4 construction packages will organize the construction of project items according to the approved design in accordance with the approved design documents, ensuring progress.

The deadline for winning units to construct the infrastructure of the 4 resettlement areas mentioned above is 180 days.
