According to the plan, in the coming time, Ha Long City will invest in building more public toilets in places with many tourists.
Currently, along Bai Chay beach, there are only a few small toilets of some service businesses and they are often overloaded during busy times; not to mention the beach is too long - about 4km so moving to the toilets is quite inconvenient for tourists.
It is known that in recent years, Ha Long City has invested and socialized the construction of many 5-star public toilets in parks and places with high tourist concentrations.
In particular, public toilets were put into use in the northwest area of Tran Hung Dao Primary School, the flower garden area west of Quang Ninh Import-Export Company; 3 public toilets at Ha Long Flower Park; 2 toilets on Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road.
Recently, another modern public toilet in the flower garden and landscape area of Group 27 and 28, Zone 2, Bach Dang Ward has also been put into use.
The above public toilets all have an area of 40-100m2, modern interior, beautiful architecture, fully equipped with sanitary equipment to serve the needs of tourists and people, ensuring environmental hygiene.
