Container trucks carrying durian still line up in residential areas in Dong Nai

Dong Nai - According to reporters' records on May 7 at Dau Giay bus station, there are only a few container trucks, but in residential areas, container trucks are still lined up in long lines.

Container truck " sneaks" into residential areas

On the morning of May 7, according to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, container trucks carrying durian were still lined up along the roads in residential areas in the Administrative Center of Dau Giay ward, and people's roads in residential areas A1-C1; while the Dau Giay bus station area only had a few container trucks parked sparsely.

In the administrative center area of Dau Giay ward, although signs prohibiting passenger and cargo transport vehicles have been placed, container trucks are still lined up for hundreds of meters. In residential area A1-C1, many container trucks also "sneak" into areas adjacent to rubber plantations to park, when they see functional forces, these vehicles immediately move to other places.

Previously, on the afternoon of May 6, Dong Nai City People's Committee issued an official dispatch requesting to overcome traffic congestion in the Dau Giay bus station area.

Chairman of Dong Nai City People's Committee requests timely handling plans to reduce congestion, ensure safety for people and vehicles traveling. The Department of Industry and Trade inspects trade activities and goods circulation, import and export, market management; surveys, evaluates, and handles contents related to durian sample collection for testing, sample collection gathering...

The City Police promptly directed professional units and local police to regulate and divert traffic at congested points, coordinate to handle situations causing traffic unsafety, and ensure safety for people and vehicles traveling through the Dau Giay bus station area.

Implementation results reported to the Chairman of Dong Nai City People's Committee on May 7.

Ward asks for direction on agricultural product testing activities at Dau Giay bus station

Previously, on May 6, according to Dau Giay Ward People's Committee, in the area of Dau Giay bus station and adjacent roads, a situation appeared where many container trucks transporting durian fruit gathered to take samples for testing for export before moving to the border gate.

Through records, the source of durian is transported from western provinces such as Can Tho, Tien Giang... and gathered at Dau Giay bus station area for sample testing.

The unit performing the sampling is M. Certification and Appraisal Joint Stock Company.

Currently, Dau Giay Ward People's Committee is requesting instructions from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai City on agricultural product testing activities at Dau Giay bus station.

According to representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai city, there are currently no businesses in the city that meet the conditions for testing.

Also according to Dau Giay Ward People's Committee, through inspection, there are currently many container trucks stopping and parking on roads in the ward that are not in accordance with regulations.

In the Dau Giay bus station area, there are many vehicles stopping and parking to wait for goods inspection, causing subsidence and damage to the road; at the same time, affecting other vehicles circulating, causing traffic safety disorder in the area.
