On the afternoon of July 23, the People's Committee of La Da commune, Lam Dong province, said that the scene of a large tree falling that caused a blockage on National Highway 55 had been handled, and traffic was smooth again.
At about 1:00 p.m. the same day, a large tree fell, blocking the section of National Highway 55 through Village 4, La Da Commune.

This is a vital route connecting from the old La Nguu Pass, Binh Thuan through Bao Lam 3 Commune and to the administrative center of Lam Dong Province.

The fallen tree has a large trunk and many heavy branches, so people cannot lift it off the road. Vehicles could not pass through, so they had to queue in both directions.

About 30 minutes later, the Commune Youth Union, the Security and Order Team, Forest Protection Management Station No. 5 and the people coordinated to handle the scene. Sawing machines are used to pick tree branches. At around 2:30 p.m. the same day, the scene was cleared for traffic to resume.
