Hanoi - A 16-seat passenger car caught fire on the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway, fortunately there were no casualties.

The authorities are clarifying the passenger bus fire that occurred on the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway, causing a 16-seat car to be burned down.

According to information from the police force, at about 11:50 a.m. on July 30, a 16-seat passenger car was traveling on the Phap Van - Cau Gie highway when it reached Km195 (near Thuong Tin intersection, from Ninh Binh to Hanoi) when it suddenly caught fire.

Immediately after receiving the report, Team 3 - Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) sent officers to the scene to direct traffic and coordinate with functional forces to extinguish the fire.

The incident did not cause any human casualties, however, all vehicles were burned down.

The cause of the fire is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
