In the afternoon of April 15, a 4-seater car was traveling on Nguyen Tat Thanh street in the direction from Nha Trang to Cam Ranh International Airport.
When arriving in the area near Diamond Bay resort, belonging to Nam Nha Trang ward, the car suddenly lost control, crashed into the median strip (con lươn) and then overturned, lying across the opposite lane.
Smoke billowing from the cabin area made many people worried that the car could catch fire.
Hearing a loud collision, people around quickly ran out to support, taking the victims trapped in the car out, and using fire extinguishers to control the smoke and prevent the risk of fire spreading.
Immediately after that, functional forces were present to regulate traffic, ensure safety in the area and conduct verification to clarify the cause of the accident.
