On March 28, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) said that it had made a record of handling drivers and owners of cars that had expired registration but still allowed vehicles to circulate on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway section passing through Lam Dong province.
During the patrol and control process on the expressway they were in charge of, the Traffic Police Team stopped a car with license plate 85A-044.xx at a toll station.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered that the technical safety and environmental protection inspection certificate of the vehicle had expired for more than 1 month.

Working with the Traffic Police, the driver presented papers in the name of D. Q. V (born 1977, residing in Khanh Hoa province).
For the above violation, the functional forces made a record and fined the driver 5 million VND, and at the same time deducted 2 points from the driver's license. The vehicle was temporarily seized for 7 days.
The vehicle owner, Hung L.P Company, was recorded and fined 22 million VND. The total fine for the driver and vehicle owner is 27 million VND.
Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 recommends that vehicle registration is not only an administrative procedure but a mandatory requirement to ensure the technical safety of vehicles when participating in traffic.
