On October 28, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, recently spread on social networks images reflecting a truck with an LED screen running advertising content for a number of brands, moving on central streets of Hanoi.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department directed the Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 to urgently intervene, conduct a review, and search for related vehicles.
The verification results showed that the truck with license plate 29K-098.xx was owned by an advertising company based in Hanoi. Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 invited the company representative to work.

At the meeting, the company representative - who is also the vehicle owner - admitted the violation, committed to removing all additional equipment and restoring the vehicle to its original state according to regulations.
Based on the verification documents, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 has drawn up a record of administrative violations against the advertising company (owner of the violating vehicle) for the act of "Advertising on the back of a means of transport", stipulated in Point a, Clause 2, Article 43 of Decree No. 38/2021/ND-CP of the Government.
Because the violating unit is an organization, the applicable fine is 7,000,000 VND and must remove all illegal advertisements on the vehicle.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that advertising on vehicles must comply with the provisions of the Advertising Law, ensuring that it does not change the structure, shape, or paint color of the vehicle, and does not cause unsafe traffic or affect road users.
Violations will be detected and strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
