Initial information, at around 11:00 a.m. on February 26, a truck with license plate 70C-097.xx was traveling on Provincial Road 830 from National Highway 1 to National Highway N2.
When reaching the section in Hamlet 4 (Luong Binh Commune, Ben Luc District, Long An Province), it suddenly hit the rear of a container truck with license plate 51R-101.xx traveling in front.
The strong impact deformed the truck's cabin, the truck driver died on the spot, and the bus attendant was injured.
At the scene, the container truck was parked close to the median strip, the truck was stuck tightly to the rear of the container truck, with many pieces of debris scattered.
Upon receiving the information, the Traffic Police of Ben Luc District Police were present at the scene to coordinate with functional forces to regulate traffic, collect information, and extract camera footage to serve the investigation of the traffic accident.
The case is currently being investigated by the Investigation Agency of Ben Luc District Police.
