According to initial information from functional agencies, the accident occurred at the intersection between Ngo Quyen street and National Highway 18, in Quang Ha commune, Quang Ninh city.
Video recording the incident through a camera at the restaurant shows that the truck moving in the direction of Mong Cai - Ha Long collided with a 7-seater car crossing the road. After that, the truck rushed into the front yard of the restaurant, continuing to collide with 3 cars parked here.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. N.V.T, residing in Quang Ha commune, a witness to the incident, said that at about 10 am on September 11, after the accident occurred, at the scene, the 7-seater car was dented in the front, a power pole was broken due to a truck rushing in, and 3 cars parked in front of the restaurant were pushed together by the truck.
According to initial information, the accident did not cause any casualties.
Functional agencies are investigating and clarifying the cause of the accident, and working with vehicle owners to statistically determine damage.
