In recent days, through on-site inspections in some areas within the scope of land acquisition for the Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park Project, in Dinh Giong and Long Khe villages, the authorities of Kim Thanh commune have discovered that a number of households and individuals have arbitrarily planted perennial trees and fruit trees and built illegal constructions on agricultural land and land that has been implemented by the project. Including the case of building fake graves.
Faced with the above situation, the People's Committee of Kim Thanh commune (Hai Phong city) has directed competent authorities to urgently verify and make records for cases of illegal perennial crop cultivation in the area subject to land acquisition in Long Khe and Dinh Giong villages. After that, 2 households voluntarily removed illegally grown crops.
Currently, the locality is continuing to inspect, review, and verify other violations to make records and strictly handle them in accordance with the provisions of law.

The People's Committee of Kim Thanh commune also recommends that people do not arbitrarily plant perennial trees, fruit trees and do not build illegal constructions on agricultural land within the scope of the announced planning. For cases of illegally planted trees, people are advised to continue to voluntarily reclaim trees that have been planted in violation of regulations.
Previously, implementing Decision No. 211/QD-TTg dated January 8, 2025 of the Prime Minister approving the investment policy of Kim Thanh Industrial Park Project; land reclamation notices and documents related to compensation, support, and site clearance for Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park Project, Kim Thanh commune, have implemented site clearance and land reclamation according to regulations.
Up to now, the commune has completed site clearance for the agricultural land of 8/10 villages. Long Khe and Dinh Giong villages are currently continuing to review and complete the inventory documents.
