On the evening of October 29, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police said that the unit had quickly verified, clarified and handled a group of young men driving motorbikes without helmets, lining up on Vinh Tuy Bridge, causing disorder and traffic safety.
Previously, people recorded and reported to the phone number of the Director of the Traffic Police Department about a group of young men driving 4 motorbikes on Vinh Tuy Bridge (from Long Bien to the center of Hanoi), lining up to occupy the entire road, not wearing helmets, causing disorder and traffic safety.
As soon as the information was received, the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police directed Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 to urgently verify. Using professional measures and collected images, the unit identified the vehicle and the identity of the group of young men in the clip.
On October 29, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 invited 8 young men involved and the vehicle to the unit's headquarters to work, witnessed by parents.
Here, the young men (all aged 16 to 18) admitted to their violations, including: not wearing helmets while driving motorbikes, riding in a row, causing traffic obstruction, and not having a driver's license.
The police agency also clarified the behavior of vehicle owners handing over vehicles to unqualified people to drive vehicles.

Based on the verification results, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 has drawn up administrative violation records for 4 drivers and those sitting behind for violating regulations on road traffic order and safety.
At the same time, the authorities also handled the vehicle owner for handing over the vehicle to an unqualified person to drive.
The total fine is 24,800,000 VND. The documents and means involved were temporarily detained for handling according to regulations.
In addition to administrative handling, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 coordinated with schools and families to propagate and educate, requiring young people and parents to commit not to repeat the offense.
The Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommends that acts such as not wearing a helmet, driving motorbikes in a row, and handing over vehicles to unqualified people to drive are all violations of the law, posing a potential risk of causing accidents.
The authorities will strictly handle both the violator and the person delivering the vehicle, to ensure deterrence and prevention of violations, contributing to maintaining order and traffic safety in the capital.
