At about 11:00 a.m. on October 20, on Vinh Tuy Bridge (through Long Bien Ward, Hanoi), a motorcyclist with a cargo handling fee (license plate and driver unknown) was traveling on Vinh Tuy Bridge, from Long Bien to Vinh Tuy.
When arriving in Long Bien ward, the motorbike collided with another motorbike, driven by a woman (identity and license plate unknown).
The strong collision caused the woman driving the motorbike to fall onto the road and die on the spot. The driver of the motorbike with a carrying price was not present at the scene.
Passersby later thought that this person had jumped into the river, so they reported to the authorities to come and search.


After receiving reports from the people, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the River - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi Police mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinating with other forces to conduct the search.
Immediately after the accident, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 - Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police also quickly sent officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate with functional forces to protect the scene and investigate the cause of the incident.
At 2:30 p.m. the same day, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong newspaper, the Commander of Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 confirmed that the information about the motorbike driver wearing a motorbike carrying goods to jump from the bridge was incorrect, this person is currently working with Long Bien Ward Police.
