People urgently resettle, give up land to build Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway

Ninh Binh - To give up land for the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway project (CT.08), many households with the project passing through are rushing to build houses in the resettlement area.

The investment project to build the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway passing through Ninh Binh province is about 52.9km long (of which, the old Ninh Binh province is 25.3km; the old Nam Dinh is 27.6km). The route is built according to highway standards with 4 complete lanes, a roadbed width of 24.5m; a design speed of 120km/h.

Recently, some localities in Ninh Binh province with the CT.08 expressway passing through have actively implemented site clearance (GPMB), compensation, support, resettlement, handover of clean land, creating favorable conditions for contractors to construct.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in Co Le Commune (Ninh Binh Province), many households are rushing to build houses in the resettlement area. Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa (in Minh Duc village) shared: "My family has 2 plots of residential land, a total area of over 700m2 subject to recovery to implement the project, so we have been allocated nearly 400m2 of land in the resettlement area and received compensation. My family, for the common development, as well as many households in the village affected by the project, all agreed and happily implemented it. Currently, I am building a house in the resettlement area".

Mr. Vu Viet Thanh - Vice Chairman of Co Le Commune People's Committee said that the CT.08 expressway passes through Co Le commune with a length of 3.22km; affecting 596 households, of which 31 households are affected by residential land. Up to now, the commune has handed over the entire area of agricultural land, and is completing the handover of residential land. Many households have agreed with the compensation and site clearance policy and are building new houses.

In Truc Ninh commune (Ninh Binh province), the expressway passes through 3.3km, affecting 430 households, with an expected 97 households subject to resettlement. Up to now, the commune has basically completed the site clearance work, handing over 2.68/3.3km on the entire route.

To serve the site clearance work, Truc Ninh commune has planned 5 resettlement areas in favorable locations, near traffic routes so that people can conveniently build houses.

It is known that when the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway is completed, it will contribute to completing regional connectivity, promoting socio-economic development, enhancing competitiveness, attracting investment, creating strong development momentum for Ninh Binh province and the entire Red River Delta.
