On August 29, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Hua Van Cat - Head of Yen Binh Commune Police (Lang Son Province) said that some subsidence points have just appeared in Bong village.
Accordingly, on the morning of August 27, a sinkhole suddenly appeared in the corner of Ms. Luu Thi X's yard.
The hole has a mouth diameter of more than 1m, and is over 3m deep. Notably, the actual width and depth of the hole have not been determined, because when using a 4m long sao to explore, it has not yet reached the bottom.

"Fortunately, the incident did not cause any human casualties. Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities were present to support and evacuate the family to a safe place," informed the leader of the Commune Police.
Mrs. X's family is in particularly difficult circumstances. Immediately after the incident, the village launched a campaign to support and help the family stabilize their lives soon.

Previously, from August 21, Lang Son province experienced heavy to very heavy rain, causing flooding and landslides in many places. Up to now, although the water level of the Trung River is still rising, at some flooded areas in Yen Binh commune, the water has temporarily receded.
