Due to the impact of storm No. 4, at 3:00 PM on August 25th, in the Gai mountain area of the Son Dao mountain range, belonging to Dong Son residential group, a serious landslide and subsidence of the rocky mountain geological mass occurred. The landslide mass separated from the natural cliff, creating a wide open vertical crack of 20 cm, directly threatening the safety of life and property of 12 households (with 48 people) living at the foot of the mountain and the risk of subsidence for 85 graves above the cliff.
At the meeting, delegates reported on the actual situation and assessed the risk of landslides, and at the same time reviewed households, works and areas likely to be affected, proposed plans to organize warnings, zone dangerous areas and restrict people and vehicles from accessing.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee requested the unit and residential group to urgently implement measures to ensure safety for people in the Gai mountain area. The focus is on mobilizing and supporting households in moving to safe temporary shelters. Police and military forces are on duty 24/7, stretching ropes, planting warning signs and controlling to prevent people from accessing dangerous areas, temporarily stopping tomb visits. Professional departments and divisions urgently review and statistically count households that need to be relocated, advise on support plans and proactive response measures to sudden emergencies.
The Ward People's Committee requests people to seriously comply with warnings, absolutely not to arbitrarily enter or return to landslide-prone areas to ensure safety of life.
