On the evening of April 10, informing Lao Dong newspaper, Van Yen District People's Committee said that the authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of a cinnamon factory fire in the area.
Specifically, at around 8:30 p.m. the same day, a major fire broke out at the cinnamon warehouse of Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoan's family (in residential group 7, Mau A town).


According to people present at the scene, at that time, the fire was discovered originating from the dry cinnamon storage area of Mr. Hoan's family. After that, the fire quickly spread to the surrounding areas, spreading fiercely.
At the time of the fire, the workers had stopped, when the family and local residents discovered it, the fire had spread, and they could only move some goods out of the fire area and report to the authorities.



As soon as the information was received, local forces coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force to quickly dispatch 4 fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to carry out fire fighting.
By 9:30 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control. However, smoke is still rising in some areas. The authorities are making efforts to completely extinguish the fire and take measures to ensure safety.
According to initial information, there were no human casualties in the fire, but the estimated damage was about 3 billion VND.
