On April 11, the Ministry of Industry and Trade sent an official dispatch requesting ministries, People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities, and large corporations such as Vietnam Electricity, Vietnam National Oil and Gas and Vietnam Coal - Mineral Industries, to report the results of the implementation of tasks in 2024 of the National Program on energy-saving and efficient use for the period 2019-2030.
The official dispatch of the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasizes that agencies and organizations are required to send reports on implementation results to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and send softworks via email before April 30, 2025. At the same time, these units also need to develop and submit a plan to implement tasks in 2026 according to the requirements of the Program.
The national program on energy-saving and efficient use was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 280/QD-TTg on March 13, 2019. The goal of the program is to promote energy-saving and efficient use to minimize environmental impacts and increase sustainability in development.
