The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has just issued Decision No. 55/2024/QD-UBND regulating the number and types of cars for general work; standards and norms for specialized cars of agencies, organizations and units under the management of Dak Lak province. The Decision will take effect from December 25, 2024.
The scope of this decision includes:
Number of pickup trucks, cars with 12-16 seats serving general work for agencies and units assigned to perform tasks of forestry, forest fire prevention, disease prevention in agriculture, border patrol, serving people with meritorious services, social protection, border demarcation, basic geological and mineral surveys, environmental sample monitoring and analysis under the management of Dak Lak province according to regulations in Clause 5, Article 8 of Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP of the Government.
Number and types of cars serving the general work of agencies, organizations and units under the management of Dak Lak province as prescribed in Article 11 of Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP.
Standards and norms for specialized vehicles of agencies, organizations and units under the management of Dak Lak province as prescribed in Point b, Clause 1, Point b, Clause 2, Article 17 of Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP.
Subjects of application include: state agencies, public service units, agencies of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations whose operating costs are guaranteed by the state budget, and project management boards using state capital under the management of Dak Lak province.
One of the notable points of the decision is that colleges will be allocated a quota of specialized cars. In particular, the Medical College is allocated 1 car per 16 seats, worth 1.5 billion VND, for training purposes; the College of Culture and Arts is allocated 1 car per 16 seats for training purposes.
Dak Lak College is allocated 34 cars for training, driving practice, and vocational training. Of these, there are 25 cars for driving practice; 4 cars for vocational training, 4 trucks, and 1 car with 16 - 45 seats.

Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee also stipulates that in cases of cars serving general work and specialized cars that have been equipped before the effective date of this Decision, they must be rearranged for continued use.
