On June 13, Nam Dinh Provincial Police informed that the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police has just issued a decision to sanction traffic violations from information provided by the people.
Previously, on May 31, Facebook account T.T.G.T.N.D posted information and images reflecting the vehicle carrying bricks violating traffic at the foot of Thien Truong Bridge, endangering vehicles going down the bridge slope.
After receiving the article, the Director of the Provincial Police Department directed the Traffic Police Department to quickly verify the vehicle and the driver to strictly handle the violation according to the provisions of law.
Through verification, it was clarified that the 2 vehicles reflected in the article are trucks with license plate 18F-007.xx and trucks with license plate 18H-035.xx; the owners of the two vehicles are Mr. Tran Duy K (residing in Loc Hoa ward, Nam Dinh city).
At the time of the violation, the car with license plate 18F-007.xx was driven by Nguyen Van N (residing in Nam Thai commune, Nam Truc district); the car with license plate 18H-035.xx8 was driven by Tran Manh K (residing in Loc Hoa ward, Nam Dinh city). 2 trucks with full documents according to regulations.
According to the police, during the work, the two drivers were aware and admitted to their violations of traffic safety and order, committed to comply with the provisions of the law and not repeat the offense.
The Traffic Police Department has drawn up a record and issued a decision to administratively sanction the two drivers, Nguyen Van N and Tran Manh K, who violated driving a car into an area with a sign prohibiting entry for the type of vehicle they were driving; each driver was fined VND5,000,000 and had 2 points deducted from the driving license.
Faced with the above situation, the Traffic Police Department has worked with the People's Committee of Nam Dinh City to propose installing additional signs, accelerator hoes, and median strips using a mark system at the foot of Thien Truong Bridge.
By June 2, the system of signs and barriers using the markers and acceleration hoes from the branch road to Song Hao Street at the foot of Thien Truong Bridge had been fully installed, ensuring traffic safety and urban aesthetics in this area, and was positively approved and evaluated by the people.
