Ca Mau - Provincial Police organize 10 driver's license (GPLX) tests before Tet Nguyen Dan, meeting the needs of the people.

In order to serve the travel, labor, production, and business needs of people during the peak period before and after the Lunar New Year, on January 29, Ca Mau Provincial Police said they would organize 10 driving license testing sessions in the province before the Lunar New Year.

According to the plan, in February 2026, the Traffic Police Department of Ca Mau Provincial Police will organize 6 motorcycle test drives and 4 car test drives. Each car test drive has about 300-400 candidates participating; for motorcycles, the number is from 400-600 candidates/test drive. The total number of applications participating in the test drive is estimated at about 5,200 applications, including 1,500 car applications and 3,700 motorcycle applications.

Part of the GPLX test schedule of Ca Mau Provincial Police:

The subjects participating in the test are trainees who have completed the training program and are eligible to take the exam; absent or failed candidates in previous exams and people with driver's licenses that have expired according to regulations. The classification of dossiers is carried out strictly right from the receiving stage to ensure the right subjects, in the right order.

To ensure that the GPLX testing sessions take place seriously and objectively, the Traffic Police Department implements many synchronous solutions. The work of checking and reviewing dossiers is carried out thoroughly; testing equipment, software, vehicles, yards, and exam rooms are comprehensively inspected before organizing the exam.

The testing process is closely monitored, public, and transparent; theoretical and practical contents all apply information technology to limit subjective and negative factors, improve the quality of testing and issuing driver's licenses.

Notably, the Traffic Police force also guides candidates to install and use the VNeTraffic application. Thanks to that, people can track progress and receive electronic driver's licenses in just about 2 hours after completing the test.

The organization of 10 driving license testing sessions before the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 not only meets the legitimate needs of the people but also contributes to improving the quality of vehicle drivers, ensuring traffic order and safety in Ca Mau province.
