Vin bus Ecological Transport Service Company Limited officially opened and put into operation the No. 43 electric bus route, connecting 30 points from the city center to Dong Anh area and vice versa.
This is the 17th electric bus route deployed by Vin bus, providing safe, civilized and environmentally friendly travel options for the people of the capital.
The No. 43 electric bus route has a route of nearly 27 km long, passing through the main traffic routes of the capital, connecting the Dong Anh area with the inner city of Hanoi.
The specific route is as follows: Kim Ma (No. 1 Kim Ma) - Giang Vo - Hao Nam - O Cho Dua - Kham Thien - Nguyen Thuong Hien - Tran Binh Dao - Quang Trung - Ly Thuong Kiet - Phan Chu Trinh - Ly Thai To - Ngo Quyen - Hang Voi - Hang Tre - Hang Muoi - Tran Nhat Duat - Yen Phu - Long Bien - Yen Phu - Tran Nhat Duat transit point - Chuong Duong bridge - Nguyen Van Cu - Ly Son - Dong Tru - Truong Sa bridge - Dau Canh intersection - National Highway 3 - Cao Lo - Dong Anh town (3 hectares of Dong Anh grassland) and vice versa.
The vehicle will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily with a frequency of 15-20 minutes/trip. The listed ticket price is 12,000 VND/trip.
The pick-up/ drop-off points of the route are arranged reasonably, connecting major transit points such as Kim Ma Bus Station, Long Bien Transit Point and residential areas in Dong Anh such as Vinhomes Global Gate Urban Area (Co Loa)... In particular, the bus route connects directly to the Cat Linh - Ha Dong urban railway line, contributing to creating a green, synchronous and convenient public transport system for people.
Bus route 43 also opens a convenient travel route to the National Exhibition Center - a symbolic project about to open in Hanoi - a new destination for people and tourists in the coming time.
The operation of bus route No. 43 is the next milestone of the Project to develop a public transport system using green electricity and energy buses in Hanoi, approved in Decision No. 6004/QD-UBND dated November 18, 2024 of the Hanoi People's Committee.
This is also a clear demonstration of the determination to complete the conversion of electric and green energy buses throughout the city by 2030 at the latest, according to Plan No. 149/KH-UBND issued by the City People's Committee on May 28, 2025.
In just the first 5 months of 2025, besides Vin bus, a series of leading public transport enterprises in Hanoi such as Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco), Neway Company, Bao Yen Company and most recently Hanoi Electric Vehicle Joint Stock Company have actively implemented the conversion to electric buses.
The increasingly large participation of transport units shows that the trend of electrifying public transport is being promoted, giving the people of the capital more green, modern and environmentally friendly travel options.
