Regarding the accident in Nghe An that killed 6 people, the Vietnam Register informed: The accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on January 12, at Km 21+800 on provincial road 543D through Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province. (Nam Can commune is a border commune, bordering Laos, about 60 km from the district center).
The truck with license plate 37C-537.03 carrying dong leaves suddenly crashed into a house driven by driver V.V.H (born in 1982, residing in Luu Kien commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An).
The accident left 6 people dead, the driver injured, the victims were identified as 2 women, the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, and 4 children under 12 years old.

Truck license plate number: 37C-537.03 (previous license plate number of the vehicle was 37H-02424), brand: HYUNDAI, year of manufacture: 2021, vehicle last inspected on November 12, 2024 at Motor Vehicle Inspection Center 37-10D, inspection deadline November 11, 2025.

Regarding the accident in Hanoi: The accident occurred at around 4am this morning (January 13). The accident occurred at lamppost number 3AW/DB1-L1/5 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, near Nhat Tan Bridge, heading towards the center of Hanoi.
Car with license plate 98C-308.16 was driven by a male (born in 1988 in Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang), motorbike with license plate 29Z1 had 2 people, both were women, both vehicles were moving in the same direction from Noi Bai to Nhat Tan bridge.
When approaching the foot of Nhat Tan Bridge, the car suddenly crashed into the motorbike, dragging two people under the car for about 200m. The truck only stopped when it went straight up the median strip, knocking down an electric pole.
The incident left 03 people dead (02 people on the motorbike and 01 person (assistant driver) in the car).
The Vietnam Register announced the technical specifications and inspection status of the related vehicles as follows:
Truck with license plate number: 98C-30816 caused the accident, brand: HYUNDAI, year of manufacture: 2023; vehicle owner: Binh Minh Organic Agriculture Cooperative, vehicle owner's address: Nam Dong, Danh Thang, Hiep Hoa, Bac Giang. The vehicle was last inspected on September 27, 2023 at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center 98-04D (Bac Giang), inspection deadline is September 26, 2025.
