The Changan Mazda joint venture informed that with impressive sales, the EZ-6 model has entered the top 3 mid-size new energy sedans in the joint venture segment in China. The company also said that the production process at the factory in Nanjing (China) has been enhanced to meet customer demand.
The Mazda EZ-6 model is built on Changan's EPA hybrid car platform with 7 different versions priced from 19,630-25,300 USD (498-642 million VND). The vehicle has 2 pure electric versions (BEV) and extended range (EREV, using a gasoline engine to charge the battery).
The car is designed in Mazda's signature language, featuring dual headlights and the Mazda logo. The car also has two new paint colors that Mazda calls "month gray" and "brilliant yellow".
The EZ-6 model has specifications of 4,921mm x 1,890mm x 1,485mm (length x width x height), a wheelbase of 2,895 mm for a spacious interior. The interior features a 14.6-inch entertainment screen and a 50-inch AR display powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset. Other highlights include: 64-color lighting system; Sony sound system with 14 speakers and zero-gravity reclining front seats.
The pure electric version is equipped with a rear motor with a capacity of 120 horsepower. This version has 2 options: 56.1 kWh battery for a range of 480 km and 68.8 kWh battery for a range of600 km. Both lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries charge from 30-80% in just 15 minutes.
The EREV version includes a 1.5-liter engine producing 93 horsepower, combined with an electric motor with a capacity of 214 horsepower. This version has 2 battery configurations that provide a range of 130 km or 200 km. In particular, the maximum combined range can be up to 1,301 km. With this configuration, the battery charges from 30-80% for 20 minutes.
Mazda EZ-6 is also equipped with L2.5 driving assistance technology with adaptive cruise control. The vehicle is also integrated with more than 150 parking scenarios for daily driving.
