Binh Phuoc Department of Finance has issued an official dispatch to solicit opinions on the draft Decision regulating the number and types of cars for public service in Binh Phuoc province. The deadline for collecting opinions is October 4, 2024.
This Decision stipulates the quantity, types, and methods of managing cars for general work at the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee Office; provincial departments, branches, sectors and equivalents; public service units, provincial project management boards; provincial socio-political organizations and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities.
Notably, 4 district-level units are allocated 8 public cars. This is the highest level for cars used for general work.
Regarding the method of managing cars for general work, Binh Phuoc province stipulates that it will assign the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee Office to manage cars to arrange cars for positions with standards for using cars when traveling on business.
Assign provincial departments, branches, sectors and equivalents; public service units, provincial project management boards; provincial socio-political organizations to directly manage and arrange cars to serve the general work of the unit.
Regarding implementation, the Provincial People's Committee stipulates the responsibilities of provincial-level agencies, organizations and units as follows:
Based on the quantity, type, and management method of cars for public service according to the Appendix attached to this Decision, manage and use cars for public service according to the provisions of the current Law on Management and Use of Public Assets.
Responsibilities of the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities: Based on the actual situation of the locality, decide on specific norms for each agency, organization and unit at the district level; decide on the management of cars for general work according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 12 of Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP of the Government.
The Department of Finance is responsible for assessing standards and norms for purchasing, liquidating, recalling, and transferring cars for general work in accordance with regulations.
