On November 18, information from the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision on the allocation and management of public cars in the province.

This Decision does not apply to the Provincial Party Committee Office and agencies and public service units under the Provincial Party Committee.
According to the decision, the units allocated public cars include: Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Office of the Provincial People's Committee; departments, branches, sectors and equivalent units at the provincial level; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and socio-political organizations at the provincial level; public service units under the Provincial People's Committee; public service units under departments, branches, sectors and equivalent units at the provincial level; and communes and wards in the area.
The total number of vehicles distributed is 569. In which, some departments and units under the department are allocated a large number such as: Department of Construction 11 vehicles; Department of Industry and Trade 8 vehicles; Department of Agriculture and Environment 30 vehicles; Department of Health 89 vehicles.
For 166 communes and wards in the area, 332 vehicles will be allocated. Specifically, each People's Committee at the commune and ward levels is granted 1 vehicle and each Party Committee at the commune and ward levels is granted 1 vehicle.
The Decision also clearly states the requirement for agencies, organizations and units to directly manage and use cars for general work. In case there is a affiliated unit, the Head of the agency, organization or unit shall decide on the appropriate arrangement.
