The 2023 Toyota Vios is a slight upgrade of this model. Launched in Vietnam, the 2023 Toyota Vios is assembled domestically and distributed with 6 exterior colors including white, silver, red, gray, black and beige. This car line has a big change when there is only a version with 3 airbags, while the EMT and E CVT versions with 7 airbags have been eliminated due to unpopularity. At the same time, the G-RS version is no longer in the distribution list.
The 2023 Toyota Vios brings significant refinements to the front of the car. The familiar scale grille has been replaced with a new design connected to the hood and extended to the sides, creating a stronger and more modern appearance.

All versions of the 2023 Toyota Vios are equipped with standard LED headlights. The car still uses 15-inch wheels but has changed the interior design to create a sporty, dynamic style. At the rear, the rear bumper is refined while the taillights still retain the same design as the old version.
Toyota has equipped the Optitron cluster to replace the old Analog form, making it easier to track driver information. The internal utilities include manual air conditioning for the standard version and two-zone automatic air conditioning for the high-end version. The rear seats can be folded at a ratio of 6/4, the tricycle leather steering wheel, the 9-inch central touchscreen - larger than the previous version.
In addition, the Vios G version is equipped with an additional gear shift on the steering wheel, increasing the feeling of sporty driving. The two lower versions are also equipped with additional USB charging ports for the rear seats, improving convenience for users.
The 2023 Toyota Vios versions all use a DVD instead of a CD, combined with a touchscreen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connection, enhancing the entertainment experience. In the EMT version, the seats have been upgraded from felt and wrapped in Simili leather.
Despite many significant upgrades, the 2023 Toyota Vios still has some limitations such as:
- Selling price is quite high compared to convenient and safe equipment
- The ability to isolate sound is only average, the vehicle tends to be noisy when moving at high speed
- The vehicle still feels floating when operating on the highway.
