The Vietnamese auto market is forecast to be bustling again after the 2026 Lunar New Year when many new car models in various segments are preparing to be launched in the first quarter.

Hyundai Stargazer facelift

Some dealers have started receiving deposits for the mid-life upgraded version of the Hyundai Stargazer, expected to be launched in March. Although TC Motor has not issued an official confirmation, this model has appeared at the emission testing center in Hanoi at the end of January.

The facelift version is expected to change the design towards sportiness, bringing a clearer SUV style. The car is likely to still use a 1.5L gasoline engine with 113 horsepower and 144Nm of torque.

Lynk & Co 03

The Lynk & Co 03 sedan model has been received deposits by some dealers since the end of 2025. Compared to the 03+ version, the standard version has been streamlined in some equipment and uses a 1.5L turbocharged engine instead of a 2.0L turbocharged engine.

Volkswagen Teramont Pro

The Volkswagen dealer system has also received Teramont Pro deposits recently. This SUV model is expected to be launched in March with two versions. Teramont Pro is a new generation replacement for Teramont imported from the US and is being distributed in Vietnam. The car is developed by the SAIC-Volkswagen joint venture and manufactured in China.

Audi S6 Sportback e-tron

In the 2026 product plan, Audi Vietnam plans to bring the S6 Sportback e-tron to the country in March. This is a high-performance version of the A6 Sportback e-tron, equipped with two electric motors, 496 horsepower and a range of about 521km after each full charge.

Lotus's tricycle

Lotus has confirmed that it will enter the Vietnamese market in the first quarter of this year with three models including Emira, Eletre and Emeya. Among them, Emira is a mid-engine sports car, using an internal combustion engine; Eletre is a high-performance pure electric SUV; and Emeya is an electric 4-door sedan. According to the plan, this brand will directly compete with Porsche in the high-performance luxury car segment.
