According to Aston Martin, the company is expanding its product line with the Vantage Roadster convertible version. The car is designed and manufactured in parallel with the hardtop, allowing Aston Martin to control the weight of the car without requiring too much stiffness of the chassis structure. The new model is informed by the company that it only weighs 29.8 kg more than the hardtop version.
The car is equipped with an AMG 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, maximum capacity of 656 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. The ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 325 km/h through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive with an integrated anti-slip microchip.
Despite the removal of the hardtop and the addition of open and closed structures, the Vantage Roadster model still achieves a weight allocation ratio of 49:51.
The entertainment system is similar to the Coupe version with the 11-speaker quantumLogic sound system, 390 W capacity, but customers can upgrade the Bowers & Wilkins speaker system optional.
Vantage Roadster will be sold with 3 new paint colors. The roof has black, red, blue or black combined with silver. If customers want to personalize paint colors and materials, they can go to the Q by Aston Martin department of the company.
The company said that the first cars will be delivered to customers in the second quarter of 2025. The price has not been revealed yet but is expected to be more expensive than the coupe version. In the US, Vantage's Coupe version costs from 191,000 USD (about 4 billion 790 million VND).
