Aston Martin is expanding its lineup with the Vantage Roadster convertible, which is designed and built alongside the hardtop, allowing Aston Martin to keep the weight of the car down without sacrificing structural rigidity. The new model is said to weigh just 130 pounds more than the hardtop.
The car is equipped with a 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine from AMG, with a maximum capacity of 656 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a maximum speed of 325 km/h through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive system with integrated electronic limited-slip differential.
Despite the removal of the hardtop and the addition of soft-top structures, the Vantage Roadster still achieves a weight distribution ratio of 49:51.
The entertainment system is similar to the Coupe version with an 11-speaker QuantumLogic sound system, 390W capacity, but customers can upgrade to the optional Bowers & Wilkins speaker system.
The Vantage Roadster will be available in three new paint finishes. The roof is available in black, red, blue or black and silver. If customers want to personalize the paint color and materials, they can visit the company's Q by Aston Martin division.
The company said the first cars will be delivered to customers in the second quarter of 2025. The price has not been disclosed yet, but it is expected to be more expensive than the coupe version. In the US, the Coupe version of the Vantage costs from 191,000 USD (about 4 billion 790 million VND).
