Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang emphasized that we are facing a worrying reality, when Hanoi is continuously on the list of the most air polluted cities in the world.
In fact, in recent days, according to the IQAir air monitoring system, Hanoi has continuously topped this list. That poses a huge challenge for all of us who live, work and are attached to the capital.
Recent studies have shown that the main cause of this problem comes from fine dust along with huge emissions from vehicles using fossil fuels.
These are “invisible killers” that endanger human health. The atmosphere is becoming more and more stifling and this is seriously affecting the lives of millions of people in the capital, from the elderly, children to all classes of Hanoians.
Faced with the above situation, Vingroup Corporation launched the campaign "For a green capital", with the goal of contributing to bringing Hanoi back to its clean, safe and environmentally friendly beauty.
According to Vingroup's leaders, the effort to restore the purity of the capital's sky is not the responsibility of one person alone. It is a call from the heart, requiring the cooperation of the whole community, from management agencies to businesses, social organizations and every individual living, studying and working in Hanoi. Every small action, from using environmentally friendly means of transport, limiting the use of nylon bags, or planting one more tree, can make a big difference.
With a pioneering spirit and commitment to a green future, within the framework of the campaign "For a green capital", Vingroup will implement practical and strong actions to promote the green transformation process, in which companies and strategic partners in the Group's green mobility ecosystem.
Vingroup leaders expressed that a green Hanoi will not only be the result of big actions, but also require the synthesis of small but meaningful actions.
Mr. Quang believes that, with the determination and solidarity of the whole community, the campaign "For a green capital" will be successful, bringing cleaner air and a safer living environment to Hanoi.
