On November 24, Ninh Binh police announced the list of fines detected last week (from November 12 to November 16). Among these, the cases of running red lights are as follows:

Traffic Police Department: km 142, National Highway 21, My Loc Ward, Ninh Binh Province.
Hoa Lu Ward Area Group: No. 1, Dinh Dien Street, Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh Province.
Phu Ly Ward Area Group: Bang Khe Bridge, Group 4, Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Phu Ly Ward, Ninh Binh Province.
The Traffic Police Department said that from 12:00 on November 22, 2025 to 12:00 on November 23, 2025, through extracting data from AI cameras piloted for installation in Hanoi's inner city (intersection of Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi streets), many cases of non-compliance with traffic light signals - running red lights have been automatically detected.

These cases have been transferred to the Hanoi City Police and functional units to carry out procedures to handle violations.
People should note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level was 4-6 million VND). Motorcycle owners will be fined from 4 to 6 million VND.
In order to effectively implement the newly issued laws, the traffic police forces of localities are actively implementing many synchronous measures, with the motto of focusing on both propaganda and strict handling.
The main goal of sharply increasing the fine according to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP is to raise awareness of compliance with traffic laws, thereby contributing to reducing accidents, congestion...
The police requested violators to go to the police headquarters where the fine was detected or to the police station where they resided to resolve the violation according to regulations.
