Mistakes that make electric motorbikes break down quickly, many people still make

Cát Tiên (T/H) |

Many people use electric motorbikes daily but unintentionally maintain wrong habits, causing batteries, engines and components to degrade quickly, reducing lifespan.

Leaving the car for a long time without use

Leaving the car for a long time without use is one of the reasons why the battery quality is reduced. If you do not need to use it for a long time, users should charge the battery at a rate of about 50-70% and check and recharge according to the manufacturer's recommendations to avoid the battery draining out.

Overloading

Each electric motorbike model is only designed to bear a certain load level. Frequently carrying more people or heavy goods causes the motor, frame and rims to bear high pressure and easily degrade. Recognizable signs are slow running, slow acceleration, and motor and battery hotter than normal.

Charging the battery immediately after driving

After operation, the battery and battery pack are still hot. If plugged into the charger immediately, high temperatures can cause the battery to degrade, flaunt quickly and reduce battery life. Users should wait for the battery to cool before charging.

Let the battery drain before charging

Many people only charge when the battery is very small or the car has stalled. This habit can reduce battery life due to internal chemical reactions being affected, and also cause the electrical system to degrade quickly.

Using non-genuine chargers

When the charger is broken, many people replace it with products that do not meet the manufacturer's specifications. This can reduce battery capacity, quickly damage, and even potentially cause fire and explosion during charging.

Abuse of water resistance

Many electric motorbikes have water resistance, but it does not mean that they can regularly pass flooded roads or stay in the rain for a long time. Water can still enter the engine and electrical system, increasing the risk of damage and reducing the vehicle's durability.

Notes

In addition to using it properly, users should periodically maintain the car, check the braking system, tires, headlights and electrical connectors. These simple habits not only help electric motorbikes operate stably and extend their lifespan but also contribute to ensuring safety during use.
