On September 16, the Road Traffic Police Team - Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police issued a record of administrative violations against Ms. T.T.V (40 years old, Nam Nha Trang Ward) for driving a car in the wrong direction on a road with a no-entry sign.
According to regulations, Ms. V was fined 19 million VND and had 4 points deducted from her driving license.
Previously, the Road Traffic Police Team received a clip from a vehicle's dashcam, recording a scene of a car driven by Ms. V going in the wrong direction on Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, passing through the Cam Ranh Peninsula Northern Tourist Area (Cam Lam Commune, Khanh Hoa).
Through verification, the authorities determined that the incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on September 7.
At this time, on Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, there are many cars and motorbikes circulating, Ms. V driving in the wrong direction poses a potential risk of accidents, causing insecurity for herself and other road users.
The police agency recommends that the act of driving in the wrong direction on a prohibited road is a dangerous act, posing a potential risk of serious accidents, and will be strictly handled according to the law.
