Bac Ninh Police announced the list of fines from September 26 to October 2. Among these, there are cars with Hai Phong license plates that violate the following violations:
Vehicle owner running a red light:
15K-223.10; 34A-327.27; 34H-030.04.
Vehicle owners who do not comply with the commands and instructions of the road markings: 34A-722.75.
Vehicle owners exceeding the prescribed speed limit:
15A-985.39; 34A-348.04; 34C-120.02; 34F-004.91; 34R-001.92.
Hanoi Police said that the list of violating vehicles in September (from September 1 to September 30), including Hai Phong license plate vehicles, is as follows:
People note that Circular No. 51/2025/TT-BCA amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 79/2024/TT-BCA of the Minister of Public Security regulating the issuance and revocation of vehicle registration certificates, license plates of motor vehicles and specialized motorbikes takes effect from July 1, 2025.
Accordingly, from July 1, the new license plates of Hai Phong include the symbols: 15,16 and 34.
The Ministry of Public Security said that traffic violators can go to the traffic police department where people live or where they are found to be violating to resolve fines.
However, the Traffic Police Department informed that currently, people are gathering at the headquarters to handle violations of fines in large numbers, some places are overloaded and people have to wait a long time.
To create the most favorable conditions for people, without having to wait and travel far, the Traffic Police Department recommends:
People proactively look for fines. If there is a violation, people need to go to the traffic police department where they have permanent residence to handle it, should not go to the place where the violation was discovered in another locality, which is both overloading the authorities and requiring long trips.
The information that needs support is to be requested for people to send information about violations, the place of detection of violations, addresses and contact phone numbers to the mailbox of the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department under the Traffic Police Department for specific instructions. The police note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
The fine for a car driver running a red light is 18-20 million VND. Drivers of cars turning left at a place with a sign prohibiting turn will be fined from VND 2,000,000 to VND 3,000,000.
The police recommend that people continue to raise awareness of voluntarily complying with traffic laws, for their own safety and that of others.
