A BMW 7 Series has just been discovered in the parking garage in Hanoi, attracting the attention of car enthusiasts. It is noteworthy that this model is not a regular version like the BMW 750Li xDrive, but the Alpina B7 - a high-performance variant developed by Alpina based on the 7 Series platform.
According to records, this car belongs to a discreet car enthusiast in Hanoi and has now been painted with matte black, a change compared to the original color (not yet determined to be white or glossy black).
Overall, the Alpina B7 is developed from the BMW 750Li xDrive but has many adjustments in both exterior, interior and powertrain. Although still retaining the appearance of a large luxury sedan, this model is supplemented with characteristic aerodynamic details such as the front spoiler and the rear fixed spoiler, helping to optimize performance at high speeds.
The "heart" of the Alpina B7 is a 4.7-liter V8 turbocharged engine, producing a maximum power of 540 horsepower and a maximum torque of 729 Nm. Compared to the 400 horsepower on the BMW 750i, this is a significant upgrade in performance. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission, and users can also choose a four-wheel drive system.
One of the characteristic identification marks of the Alpina B7 is the 21-inch custom-designed multi-spoke rims. Going with it are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires with front dimensions 245/35 ZR21 and rear dimensions 285/30 ZR21.
According to research, in Vietnam, there are currently only about 2 Alpina B7s brought in, including one white car and one glossy black car. The appearance of this matte black paint variant continues to show the level of collection and the "playfulness" of BMW enthusiasts in Vietnam.
