The working group stopped the vehicle at the Km208 intersection for inspection and handling according to regulations.

The driver was identified as Mr. M.H (born 1979, residing in Ho Chi Minh City, Korean nationality). During the paperwork inspection, functional forces discovered that Mr. M.H's driver's license had expired for 1 year or more.
At the time of inspection, the driver could not present the vehicle registration certificate and the technical safety and environmental protection inspection certificate of the vehicle.
The working group made a record for the driver for the above 4 violations. According to current regulations, the total penalty for the driver's violations is 31.5 million VND, and 6 points of the driver's license are deducted. The vehicle is also temporarily seized for 7 days to serve the handling work.
In addition, functional forces made a record to handle vehicle owners for 3 acts including handing over vehicles to people who do not meet the conditions to drive, bringing vehicles without vehicle registration certificates and without technical safety and environmental protection inspection certificates to participate in traffic. According to regulations, vehicle owners will be fined 57 million VND.
The total amount of fines to be imposed on drivers and vehicle owners is 88.5 million VND.
