According to information from the dealer, the new generation Skoda Kodiaq is expected to be delivered to customers before the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025. The car is sold in 2 versions: Selection (replacing the Ambition version) and Sportline (replacing the Style version). The Kodiaq Sportline version has an estimated price of about 1.6 billion VND.
The new generation Kodiaq model was first introduced at the Vietnam Auto Show 2024 taking place at the end of October 2024. The car is developed on a new chassis platform with dimensions of 4,758 x 1,864 x 1,657 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,791 mm. Compared to the previous generation, Kodiaq is 61 mm longer, 18 mm narrower and 24 mm lower while the wheelbase remains the same.
In terms of exterior, this car model applies the Modern Solid design language with characteristic details such as: vertical grille, 36-module matrix LED headlights and LED taillights across the rear of the car, creating a modern appearance.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Kodiaq features a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a head-up display for a comfortable driving experience. The air conditioning control cluster has been switched from touch to physical buttons, increasing convenience. The Sportline version has Alcantara-covered sports seats, a 12-speaker Canton sound system, and a panoramic sunroof to enhance the user experience.
In terms of engine, both versions are expected to use a 2.0L turbocharged engine, 187 horsepower, combined with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and AWD drive system, providing strong performance. Notably, the 2025 Kodiaq model can be equipped with an ADAS driver assistance package with features such as lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, enhancing driver safety.
According to information from the dealer, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq model will continue to be imported from the Czech Republic. The dealer also said that it is likely that this mid-size SUV will be assembled in the near future, right after the Thanh Cong Viet Hung factory in Quang Ninh comes into operation.
