According to data from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), although there are 7 out of 10 models on the list with sales of over 20 cars, the ranking is still fluctuating continuously.
Ford Explorer recorded its biggest decline, with sales in June falling just one car, down 90% from May. This is also the first month after Ford Vietnam announced the suspension of distribution of this large SUV model in the domestic market. In the first half of 2025, only 131 Explorer vehicles were consumed.
In 2nd place, Honda Accord, despite a slight improvement with 2 sold cars, is still in the group of cars with the lowest sales in the market. Kia Morning ranked 3rd with 6 cars, up slightly compared to last month, but not significantly compared to the overall market.
Kia K5 sold 20 cars in June, up nearly 18% but still dropped in the rankings, falling to 4th place due to stronger growth of other models. Isuzu mu-X, after a period of positive growth in May, turned down 28%, with only 23 cars sold and ranked 5th.
The list continues to record the presence of familiar models such as Toyota Corolla Altis (24 cars), Toyota Alphard (26 cars), KIA Soluto (30 cars), Mitsubishi Outlander and Isuzu D-Max (31 cars). Suzuki Jimny closed the chart with 33 cars sold.
Although still in the slow-selling group, many models in the second half of the group have achieved significant growth compared to last month. Toyota Alphard achieved an increase of nearly 86%. Suzuki Jimny also surprised with impressive growth of up to 94%, despite being a small, user-centric SUV.
In contrast, Mitsubishi Outlander continued to decline, marking the second consecutive month in the list of slow-selling vehicles, clearly reflecting the lack of steam for this 7-seat SUV in the sales race.
