According to the Traffic Police Department, on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, the AI camera system at Km20 recorded 12,437 vehicles traveling. The camera system warned 31 suspicious cases, through inspection, 4 actual violations were identified, mainly for the error of not fastening seat belts while driving.
At intersections in Hanoi, AI cameras detected 179 violations, including 130 cases of not complying with traffic lights, 46 cases of not wearing helmets, 2 cases of going against traffic and 1 case of going in the wrong lane.
In addition to the camera system, channels receiving people's feedback managed by the Traffic Police Department continue to record a lot of information to serve the handling of violations.
Accordingly, the Facebook fanpage of the Traffic Police Department received 177 feedbacks, transferred for verification 17 cases; Zalo platform received 9 feedbacks, transferred for verification 3 cases; VNeTraffic application received 384 feedbacks, transferred for verification 17 cases.
The main contents reflected are related to acts such as stopping and parking in violation of regulations; going against traffic; changing lanes in violation of regulations; driving in the wrong lane; overtaking vehicles in violation of regulations; running red lights; going into the emergency stop lane; driving a one-wheeled vehicle and carrying materials to spill on the road.
According to the Traffic Police Department, cases with sufficient grounds are transferred to local traffic police forces and expressway traffic police teams for verification and handling according to regulations.
