The car's paintwork creates a 3D rainbow effect when exposed to sunlight, thanks to seven layers of lacquer and a mother-of-pearl coating containing ultra-fine aluminum and magnesium fluoride flakes.
Inspired by the moon's halo – when light refracts through ice particles to create a multi-colored ring – Spectre Lunaflair's paint job recreates this effect brilliantly.
According to Rolls-Royce, the development of the paint required extensive testing of chemicals, application times and primers. Ultimately, a special painting technique with seven layers of lacquer and a mother-of-pearl layer infused with metal flakes created the unique visual effect.
Spectre Lunaflair not only stands out with its paintwork, but also has a luxurious interior with white, navy blue and peony pink tones. This color combination is inspired by the "color spectrum of the lunar halo", creating an impressive interior space.
Additionally, the car features a two-tone steering wheel and a Starlight headliner, with illuminated trim and red accents.
In terms of performance, the Spectre Lunaflair features all-wheel drive, a 102 kWh lithium-ion battery, and two motors that produce 577 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.
The car can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4.4 seconds and has an operating range of up to 446 km according to EPA standards.
This car is also inspired by the Phantom Syntopia, continuing to demonstrate the talent of Rolls-Royce's Bespoke design team with limitless creativity.
